Description

Ce chef d'œuvre anglais aurait pu/dû porter le nom de Vantage GT3, catégorie dans laquelle le constructeur rencontre un sérieux succès, mais l'appellation étant déjà exclusivement réservé par une certaine sportive allemande, la version radicale de la Vantage portera finalement le nom de GT12. Très très loin du légendaire flegme british, ici la mesure n'a pas sa place, à l'image de cet aileron digne des 24H du mans ou encore des appendices aéro (Lame avant, diffuseur etc ..). La motorisation à quant à elle conservée toute sa noblesse et sa pureté, en mettant en scène pour la dernière fois de son histoire un V12 atmosphérique de 6.0 de cylindrée poussée à son apogée à 600ch. Le carbone est largement présent à l'intérieur et extérieur, les échappements sont quand à eux en titanes, délivrant des envolées lyriques époustouflantes. Seuls 100 exemplaires dans le monde ont été produits, faisant de ce modèle un véritable collector aussi exceptionnel à contempler qu'à piloter !

Historique

Notre exemplaire en particulier est l'un des 4 « Production Prototype » au monde, une série dans la série ! Cette auto n'a parcourue que 6.900 km depuis sa première mise en circulation et est déjà immatriculée en France. C'est une occasion rarissime d'acquérir l'une des autos les plus extraordinaires de l'histoire d'Aston Martin !
